AWARD WINNER STILL CLICKING AFTER 28 YEARS
Local photographer, David Thexton wins double awards in National Competitions.
As 2008 is coming to a close, David Thexton has cause to celebrate by being a double award winner in two of the country’s high profile competitions, open to professional photographers. He entered two images (see photo) into the British Professional Photography Awards 2008 (countrywide entrants) and the North West Professional Photography Awards 2008 (800 entrants) and was awarded Merit certificates for excellence in Creative Wedding Photography and recognition of achieving a high standard of skill and technical ability in his profession.
He opened his photographic studio in 1981, so February 2009 begins his 29th year as the longest established, and one of the highest qualified, and most experienced practitioners of his craft, in the Furness area.
